The blockchain-based edutech platform Metis will be reborn under the new name Metis-edu.

Metis-edu aims to create a learning ecosystem where users reward Metis Tokens (MTS) to take and complete lectures so that users can feel a sense of accomplishment within the platform. Metis-edu is currently providing various contents with partners who provide foreign language courses and coding education services such as Moon Jung-ah’s Chinese Studies, MYPOOL, and TCP School.

Holders of the Metis Tokens have the right to make decisions on which contents to be provided on the platform. To become the content provider of the Metis-edu platform, more than half of the consent must be obtained from token holders.
Metis-edu completed the tutor’s governance building in January 2021, released beta versions of AOS and IOS apps in mid-March, and is about to be officially released at the end of March.
Due to the coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Metis-edu will take the lead in the market where the environment is changing from face-to-face learning to non-face-to-face learning.
