Blockchain-based Edu Tech MetisEdu announced that it has launched a beta platform for providing various educational content services. The beta platform released this time is the web (metisedu.tv) and Android-based app version. The ISO app platform will be released after a deliberation procedure.
MetisEdu is a platform where anyone can easily take a variety of educational contents using MTS (Metis) tokens. MetisEdu plans to provide various E-Learning services in each field, such as language and coding. Premium contents that have already been proven in the education market, such as TCP School, Moon Jung-ah Chinese, and My Full, will be presented at Metis Edu.
MetisEdu also improves the one-sided vertical relationship between tutors and students in the existing education platform, providing an opportunity for anyone to use their own educational content to become a tutor. For the selection of tutors, a voting for MTS holders will be conducted, and only if more than half of the votes are obtained, the tutor is eligible. Participants who voted can receive regular dividends of the tutor’s profits.
Meanwhile, MetisEdu announced that it will add a Metis (MTS) staking program to the platform. Platform users can receive interest as compensation by depositing their own Metis (MTS) through lock-up settings for a certain period of time. In addition, staking users will be given a variety of merits such as discounts when using content within the platform.
